Dr Aimee Maxwell
Our co-host Aimee is originally from Brisbane and moved to the Gold Coast in 2017 to study her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Aimee is trained in CBT-e and FBT, and works primarily with eating disorders, and is currently completing her core training in ISTDP. Aimee is a warm, empathic psychologist, with a healthy dose of humour, dry whit and sarcasm, a personal style that is evident in her professional practice and as a co-host. In her spare time, you will find Aimee barracking for her football team- the Essendon Bombers, sleeping in on weekends, watching Simpsons reruns, and playing Animal Crossing on her Nintendo Switch. Aimee is also a self-confessed ‘foodie’ and loves to cook and be wined and dined at restaurants on the Gold Coast.
